My mom is knitting!!
She taught me to crochet about 6 years ago, has knitted before, but just picked it up again. Yay yay yay, I get to talk fiber with my mom! Here is her Spunky Eclectic scarf, and more projects are on her new blog –> ballostring
And another special knit, I always say that Karabella Lace Mohair is a perfect substitute for Rowan Kidsilk Haze, and Agnes at Knitting in the Valley totally agrees! See her “River” shawl and her comments about Lace Mohair… awesome!

Wowee, when these skeins came in from MidnightSky Fibers I was drooling. They are on the small side, 50 yards for most skeins, but they are really cool.

The new Karaoke stripes are here! These colors are more intense and make stripes that are closer together.

Also, there is a new kids hat pattern for color 300. click here
Color 300 has one stripe of dark green in it, I was so mesmerized as I was knitting this hat watching the colors change. These new colors are also a bit more thick/thin than the others, creating nice depth to the knitted fabric.
