Good news! We have added more Karabella Boise and Margrite colors.
Both of these yarns have cashmere in them, and you can really feel it! It’s almost like a merino wrapped in cashmere, you would never know that it’s not 100% cashmere!
A must-try for all knitters, really…
See a closeup of Margrite. (click for a larger image)

And here are the new Boise colors.

Hello guys and gals, the kpixie receiving area was overloaded with new items. We have new patterns coming tomorrow by a couple of new indie designers, but for now I show you the new yarns that I had the pleasure of photographing last night (maybe a few skeins “fell” into my knitting bag while doing so.)
New Blue Sky Alpacas!!! woo hoo!
4 new colors in Alpaca Silk: colors 142, 143, 144 and 146
Here’s a wicked close-up of one of the new colors, drool over the texture, I dare you.

The Skinny Cotton and Skinny Organic that Wendy has been talking about have also made their way to kpixie.

There are also 4 new Blue Sky Alpaca patterns, they are on the top of the list on the patterns page.

Sockotta by Plymouth. 6 colors, 3 different effects.
A blend of cotton, wool, nylon makes it a non-itch knit.

.
We also received a shipment
of Goose Pond Stitch markers,
sorry for the long wait!
We’ve got small, medium and large.

.
Three new colors of Gossamer are in stock, and they are on sale!

An awesome green and purple with iridescent sparkle, and a white that is very romantic looking, would be great for quick Bridesmaids scarves. Or how about adding some to your next spinning project?
Okay knitters and crocheters, it’s back to work for me. Have fun shopping.

hello from kpixie world headquarters! ;-)
Its been busy since the last time I wrote. We moved the kpixie website to a more powerful server and updated our shopping cart software. So you might notice faster browsing and a new layout. It took many lady-hours to get it going and we hope you enjoy kpixie 2.0 as much as we do. So, here are some things I MUST show you that flew under the radar while doing website work.
First up, my absolute new favorite yarn, Karabella Merino Superwash.

This yarn knits up as a worsted or aran weight, it has a very subtle sheen, duller than Aurora 8, which is good. Has a mild merino halo and the twist is just gorgeous. Jessica’s daughter knit this yarn into mittens as a dk weight and they look so great. A totally versatile SUPERWASH merino, love it.
I’ve so far made two hats with this yarn.
Both of them cabled beauties, my favorite hats to date.

Next up is Karabella Lace Merino, in which we have have 5 more colors coming this week.

You want 255 yarns of fingering weight merino at a great price point??
You got it! Gorgeous colors, perfect twist, great for lace shawls and socks alike.
HiyaHiya is here!
These needles are great, tried them for the first time at TNNA this June.
The stainless circulars are at a great price and the joins are close to perfect. The bamboo double points are impregnated with resin to keep even the small sizes strong. We’ve got more sizes and styles coming, don’t be afraid to ask us to order a size you need!
Browse the needles category to find the HiyaHiya’s you’re looking for.
Also, we’ve got some Mama Llama hand painted in stock!

Thats all for now. Keep knitting! The holidays are fast approaching… then it’s back to knitting for ourselves, right?! ~missa
