OUTER . superwash wool and organic cotton . 60 yds
SWEATER . superwash wool and organic cotton . 160 yds
FINE . superwash wool and silk . 248 yds
The yarns are soft and fill the gap towards affordable superwash knitting. The patterns are SO great, offering up adult and childrens garments as well as accessories.

We received our shipment of the new Loop-d-Loop yarn called Quartz.
I was skeptical when reading about this yarn on paper, but once I touched the yarn and did a test knit I was hooked!

You can really see the linen halo and the metallic strand that is wrapped around the fibers. Such a great warm-weather yarn, and awesome patterns in the Loop-d-Loop Volume 4 pattern book!

Wow, how time flies when you’re having fun. This new year has been a great one for getting UFO’s finished and for test knitting new yarns.
Although I don’t have photos of some of the test knits, my new favorite yarns are as follows:
Blue Sky Alpacas Melange
I haven’t had too much time to knit with this yarn until now. The heathery look of the colors really comes through in the finished knit!

Tilli Tomas Beaded Plie
This lace edge was knit with Tilli Tomas Beaded Plie. A silk yarn with beads throughout, hold up well to wear and looks great in stockinette too!
